Schefty was right, unfortunately. I was really hoping, as many, others were that Tom would see that Adam Schefter reported his retirement before he could and come play another season solely out of spite, how great would that be?

It really sucks to see Tom go, I always hated him when he played for the patriots, but ever since he played for the Bucs I truly understood how great he was and I began to appreciate it, and even caught myself cheering for him on multiple occasions.

Tom truly was a winner, there are so many stats that are just ridiculous that you can point out and provide evidence of him being a winner, but if you really watched him play there was just something about him every time he touched the field. You could visually see his fire and his passion for the game. It really was just pure art.

Everyone has been very emotional about his retirement because of the effect he had on the sport and many peoples lives. He took the people of New England and Tampa Bay and gave them something to look forward to week by week and genuinely made their overall lives happier. Tom Brady's legacy will forever be cemented as the most historic NFL careers and one of the most historic in sports in general. The only person to ever defeat time, Tom Brady.
